A Probabilistic Model for the Management of a Tram Fleet
نویسندگان
چکیده
The maintenance of transport vehicles represents an important aspect of the operating costs of a TPL (local public transport) company. This work analizes the programmed and corrective maintenance procedures of a recent tram fleet. Starting from machine shop’s data, after a careful technical and economic analysis, a set of two models has been developed in order to forecast and point out time and operating cost of the examined stock, using the RAM parameters’ characteristics: a probabilistic model for the anomaly management in line and for the analysis of shops’ maintenance operations, and a model for the calculation of LCC (Life Cycle Cost). The procedure has been applied to a TPL company obtaining satisfactory results consistent, under an economic point of view, with balance data and, under a reliability point of view, consistent with the purchasing specifications.

Fleet management for autonomous vehicles: Online PDP under special constraints
The VIPAFLEET project consists in developing models and algorithms for managing a fleet of Individual Public Autonomous Vehicles (VIPA). Hereby, we consider a fleet of cars distributed at specified stations in an industrial area to supply internal transportation, where the cars can be used in different modes of circulation (tram mode, elevator mode, taxi mode). One goal is to develop and implem...

The fleet assignment problem (FAP) assigns the type of airplane at each flight segment. Since airplane is an expensive resource, poor fleet assignment can cause a great increase in costs of airlines. There are so many consideration which should be tackled in formulation of a FAP problem, especially the parameters regarding to the airplanes. This paper presents a novel, mixed integer programing ...

This paper integrates competitive pricing and network design problems for the short life cycle products. The pricing problem determines selling prices of the products for different life cycle phases in a competitive market, as well as acquisition management of returned products. Besides, the selling and acquisition prices are related to the distance between distribution centers and customers. T...
متن کاملA new mathematical model for the closed-loop supply chains considering pricing for product, a fleet of heterogeneous vehicles, and inventory costs
Mathematical models have been used in many areas of supply chain management. In this paper, we present a mixed-integer non-linear programing (MINLP) model to solve a multi-period, closed-loop supply chains (CLSCs) with two echelons consist of producers and customers. In order to satisfy the demands, the producers are be able to order for materials in the beginning of each period for one or more...

This paper develops an MILP model, named Satisfactory-Green Vehicle Routing Problem. It consists of routing a heterogeneous fleet of vehicles in order to serve a set of customers within predefined time windows. In this model in addition to the traditional objective of the VRP, both the pollution and customers’ satisfaction have been taken into account. Meanwhile, the introduced model prepares a...
